Isaiah 6:8: And I heard the voice of the Lord saying:
"Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?"
Then I said, "Here I am! Send me."
Eric Covington MFA
Artist. Dad. Collaborator. Eternal Optimist.
Some artists create to express themselves. I create to bring people together.
In a time when division and despair too often dominate the headlines, my work is rooted in a simple yet radical belief: the world is still full of light—and art, especially when made with others, can reveal it. Through public installations that invite emotional participation, I aim to spark joy, wonder, and connection in shared spaces.
My work isn’t complete until the community leaves its mark.
This path wasn’t chosen lightly. I’ve walked through seasons of both hardship and grace. But perhaps my greatest education came not from any institution, but from being a single father. Raising my daughter Amelie has taught me the essence of patience, imagination, and love in its most resilient form. As she grows into her own future, I feel called to expand my sense of fatherhood—to serve not just one child, but the wider human family, through creativity.
I believe in synchronicity—not just as coincidence, but as a sacred alignment for those who are paying attention. My life has been full of these moments, nudging me toward something bigger than myself: a mission to use my artistic gifts to uplift others, to cultivate beauty in unexpected places, and to remind people that they are not alone.
At the heart of every project I lead is a single question:
What if art could heal?
Each piece I design becomes a platform for others to co-create, to feel seen, and to discover something beautiful about themselves and each other. These are not just installations; they are acts of collective hope.
So, here is my invitation—to you, the dreamer, the skeptic, the passerby:
Join me.
Touch the light.
Add your voice.
Let’s build something that didn’t exist yesterday
—a moment of beauty that says, "we were here, and we chose love."
Because when we create together, we remember: this world is still good.
And our hearts never have to harden.
The 2025 Bloom is *gratitude and what that means to you.
"You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you.
You have to go to them sometimes."
